Summary0008513: 4x consciousness stones spawning in stash rooms
DescriptionI'm finding stacks of 4 or so consciousness shards in stash rooms and the like that were originally replacements of the character upgrade stones that were seeded around in the same places. From memory, given the "standard" drop for these is around the 20-30 mark, and most monsters drop similar, it's probably reasonable to either upgrade them to a similar amount or ditch them altogether for a different drop.

Yeah, there used to be pickups of 1 upgrade stone, and when those were removed they replaced them with four times the amount in shards. Thus, stacks of 4 shards... Really quite wimpy.

Oh and related to this, shard pickups in rooms sometimes fall to the ground upon loading into the room. Kinda weird, shouldn't they spawn on the ground anyway?

I believe I've said this before, but for converted upgrade stones, I'd suggest square-rooting the current amount and multiplying by 10 (so the amounts are 4> 20, 8> 28, 12> 35, 16> 40, 20> 45, 24> 49, 28> 53, 32> 57, 36> 60, 40> 63).

Alternatively, these could be replaced (at least in stashes) with more "useful" items, such as arcane ingredients, stash items, etc.
