Summary0008718: Using a shield shouldn't(?) negate over-time damage already inflicted
DescriptionIf you get hit by a fire bat (assuming you're not using a fire suit or somesuch), you start taking damage over time. If you then activate a Shield, the shield will absorb the rest of the "over time" fire damage.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or a suggestion: I think that if you took over-time damage while you didn't have a shield up, then you should have to feel the rest of that damage, even if you later activate a shield. The logic here is that you got burned "while your defenses were down"; if you get a shield bubble to surround you after getting burnt, your skin is still what got burnt, and it's going to be burning for a few seconds more, even with a shield up ^_^;

The only (minor) issue I can think of with this, is that it makes players slightly more likely to die. If you have 2 health left, you're taking over-time burning damage, and you activate a shield to try and save yourself...well, if this were implemented, you would still die, because you were still burning under your shield.

I hope this makes sense. This is kind of a "what would make sense in the real world" kind of issue. If it doesn't make sense, I'd be happy to try and rephrase it.
