This is correct. Any structures you capture in general add to your ship cap like normal. Same with ships you capture via parasite, etc.

Ok, I hope you will consider bumping the output of the z-gen back up to 400-500k like it used to be.

That makes it a BIT of a magic bullet, though, no? It's already quite effective, it just doesn't obviate the player from capturing four or five planets. They're still useful, just not so useful that it's the first thing everyone should always look for. Which seems about right to me, though I'm open to discussion if there's something I'm missing, of course.

200k output, at generally optimal normal production, is 5 mk2 power plants, each costing 15m/c each. A combined total of 75m/c.

While 200k is not a HUGE amount by any stretch of the imagination, its about as effective as capturing a captive human settlement (i think they are around ~60m/c) It also means you can place mk2 power plants in 5 more places.

Generally, however, your replacing mk3 plants - at 40m/c each(5m/c per 10k energy), your looking at easily combined total of 100m/c (if you subtract as above to get 200k).

TL:DR - Treat the ZPG as you would a machine that creates about 100m/c per second.

Alternatively, capture it and scrap it, for a boost of (i believe), 360k of each material. (a little bit of thought indicates that this is only an hour worth of operation.. if you build it yourself, it takes TEN hours to pay for itself!)

This is approximately equal to 10 distribution nodes, assuming an average output of 40k ish, which I think is fairly average. Of course, they also cost twice as much AIP.........
Would you consider boosting distribution nodes, given the prevalence of high cost scrappable capturables out there?

Okay, okay. Next version:

* Zenith Power Generators now produce 400k energy instead of 200k, owing to their increased cost. They also now have a 4x wave bonus, rather than a 2x bonus.

* The AI Progress costs of the Zenith Reserves have all been about cut in half.

* The AI Progress cost of the Distribution nodes has been reduced from 2 to 1. Also, the possible and minimum amounts that they give out have both been been doubled. And, in the case of a trojan node, the amount that they take away has been halved.
