Summary0009011: Pause game when window loses focus
DescriptionWhen casting spells and pressing the mouse at the border of the window it happens that your cursor is out of the window. Then an other application gains focus and AVWW gets hidden. While you're refocussing the app, the game is still running. This can be a problem when fighting against bosses.
So it would be nice if the game could automatically show the pause menu when the game window loses focus.

I don't want the game to pause when out of focus.

Sometimes, I want to idle so that time can pass in the background, so that I have new secret missions or overworld missions to come back to.

Blahness, what if you could toggle this in the settings window (like TechSY730's suggestion within 0008965)?

I think most people would want the game to pause when out of focus, so I feel like the default option should be to have pause-when-unfocused enabled.

A toggle option would be perfect!

Are you referring to when the game is in windowed mode or fullscreen?

If fullscreen, I can't duplicate this (nor can I think why you wouldn't want it to pause when losing focus from fullscreen).

If windowed, that's never been supported by the game -- the workaround (read:hack) that we found to detect loss of focus in the unity engine is something that only works in fullscreen mode, not in windowed.

That's too bad. Maybe there's a way that the game can think it's in fullscreen mode, but is actually in windowed mode?

Alternately - what if a player were to alt-tab to another program while AVWW was running in fullscreen? How about making AVWW pause then? (I've noticed that AVWW doesn't allow alt-tabbing (at least on my mac), so the issue is probably a little complicated.)

I want it to not pause when losing focus from fullscreen so that time can pass while I do other things. Say, all the available secret missions are unavailable and need refreshing, and I don't own Sunrise/Moonrise.
