Description | When you get the map in a level, it's supposed to make all false walls turn invisible. This is cool, except that the player can't always appreciate the difference because they may not realize where false walls used to be displayed. The false walls should therefore turn transparent so that the player has a sense of both seeing the illusion and knowing it's a path. (Previous issue addresses the fact that the ported version doesn't actually make the walls turn invisible at all when a map is acquired.) | ||||

* Secret passages now just show up as half-transparency rather than fully invisible when you are holding the map. ** In fact, they actually now pulse a bit with their transparency so that it's considerably easier to see them when they have a pattern on another pattern behind them. |

The pulsing transparency looks incredible! I like how this lets you see the shadows under the false walls. :) |

By the way, in revision 557, the Switch Maze was not yet updated with the new secret tile type. I put them in on my copy... Hopefully there won't be any conflict when I commit tonight. |
