Summary | 0009943: Units avoid attacking hybrids if possible
Description | Currently when units are left to their own devices they will only attack Hybrid Hives when there are no other targets available, even if Hybrids are their preferred targets or they have bonuses against them (attack orders on individual Hybrids are followed, of course). This is easiest to see with e.g. Champion bomber drones that will rather attack Railclusters than a hybrid. It may be related to the shield on the hybrids, I've seen similar behavior from my drones when dealing with a force field generator (they would rather shoot Railclusters than the FF).

For 6.022: * In honor of it coming in second in the "bug of the year" poll, we've fixed a number of bugs that were preventing the preferred-target rules (and to some extent the focus-fire rules) from working on hybrids or other units with a modular forcefield. ** The Focus-Fire toggles and preferred-target rules have also been made somewhat more enthusiastic about their jobs in general (specifically, when looping over secondary targets in range after reaching overkill-saturation on the primary target). Thanks :) |
