Agreed. It should do at least 20 times the damage it currently does. Maybe more. It is supposed to be a rare super-weapon, after all. The high-end Arachnid Guardposts would still out-damage it, though. |

What about 30x damage and immunity to radar dampening? The thing already has massive range, so the dampening immunity should help complementing that... |

OMD already has dampening immunity. I don't want it to be _too_ powerful (c.f. ion cannons against fleetships), but a fair damage buff is probably in order. |

I agree and think the OMD damage should be sufficient to blow up the weaker star ship types with one hit. Perhaps weaker as an artillery golem but in a comparable range. To alleviate fears of exploit, it could be made more expensive to purchase and/or to operate (energy wise). |

For 7.006: * Orbital Mass Drivers now have the health of a mkI arachnid post and the DPS of a mkIII one (with no change to rate of fire). Both changes are significant buffs. Thanks :) |
