I adjusted my flagship abilities at some point (unfortunately I don't remember exactly what I did) and the next time I checked the dropdowns listed the already-selected "Stunner" in place of the unselected "Anti-Swarm Lasers" in the top two slots. After changing the selection in the bottom slot (back to Stunner or to anything else) the problem corrected itself, but returned after I hit "cancel" on the Manage Fleet screen. When I saved my game, it went away. I didn't think to select the "Stunner" option in one of the other ability slots to see if it actually referred to stunners or if it was lasers with the wrong name.
In the attached image, the top screenshot is the list of selected abilities, the middle is the second slot's dropdown showing "Stunner" as available, and the bottom is the third slot's dropdown showing "Stunner" and "Anti-Swarm Lasers". |
