Description | Upon exploring a cave perk region near the overlord's keep in the beggining of the game (this was during the 8th turn on a large map) I got stuck. I cleared the dungeon in the depths of the area, but after looping back to the entrance of the dungeon, i was faced with an issue on the way back. Right next to the dungeon entrance, the only was back was to proceed trough a shaft that was too high for the character. It was the only way back, and the jup distance was about a character high too short, forcing me to use the poison pill to exit. If this obstacle occured on the way to an area, it would act as a barrier that requires the player to obtain doube jump, but in this case it essentially works as a deathtrap. This area was available for exploration from the first turn. | ||||

There is supposed to be a door out in the perk room. If there wasn't, please send me a save of the world with you in or near the cave in question please. |

Indeed. This took place after I exited trough the aforementioned door, and was back in the starting region, the one you have to go down a chasm to reach the initial cave entrance. As a suggestion, you could simply have the door at the end of the perk room lead back at the surface rather than the bottom of the canyon? As for the save file, I wasn't on my own computer since i was visiting relatives right before christmas. Sorry about that. :( |

Actually, I think the plan is to have the perk room door take you back to the world map. :) So, just so I'm clear, in your case, there WAS a door in the perk room, but the problem came in after you went through that door? Correct? I just want to be clear, because there was a bug before where the door in that room wasn't always spawning, and I want to make sure that's not back again. |

Good idea :) And yes, the perk door worked just as intended. |

In for .708: * At the bottom of caverns, rather than having a tunnel that leads back to the bottom of the surface tunnels (some of which can't be climbed out of without double or triple jump anyway), it now takes you all the way back to the world map. This solves the need for suicide pills after going for perk tokens, as well as saving some time. |
