Summary0011195: Ability to help the other color
DescriptionIts perhaps a bit too easy to help say the red side recover by using blue (turns/tokens/buildings/etc).

Is it intended that you can have one side build resource building for the other (indirectly, by placing them in an easily conquered area)? Additionally, seems odd that Greece can drop a couple of myth tokens in the safe, back area of the Norse to power them up. Would increase the difficulty if you couldn't use blue actions to help the red side and vice versa.

Not sure whether this is fixable - there will always be a way of placing tokens such that the other side will obtain it, and vis-a-vis resource buildings. Only if you restrict resource placement to within 6 tiles or something.

Besides, I think this should be maintained, since you are not really playing two sides and shouldn't pretend to be. I would rather tokens be fought over, so to speak, by restricting them to be placed far outside of town.

Well to take this question to the other extreme, why even define some turns as belonging to one side, and some turns to the other. Could just have a common set of turns, and just pull from one sides resources if you are building a building/token/etc for that faction?

I think it's fine the way it is. At the very least, the way the turns work shouldnt be altered.

Dropping a blue thing in red territory, though, isnt a terrible idea, and makes sense when you're trying to keep both sides constantly at war. Sneaky/underhanded tactics like that fit the game, I think. And there's at least enough restrictions on buildings/resources to keep it from going overboard. Mostly you can do this with the mythical units, but you always run the risk of them causing TOO MUCH damage, so there's that to keep in mind.

Most of this stuff is resolved now in terms of resource buildings having to be in towns, and the woes mess with this, too. Also with there being a limited number of burns to the tokens that you place per time period.
