I really am not understanding what you mean at all with this one. Arrows when? Before they move? After? For the current unit moving? All the units? During playback? Prior to playback? |

Maybe he means you could draw a path of where the unit is going, and then show them scroll along it. |

The actual purpose of this mantis issue is to suggest improvement of communication how units move. Arrows that(As nick says) is an example of a potential solution to the lack of visual feedback. Personally I would find it clearer to place the arrows before they move during playback considering it might clutter up the map if you do it during that phase. Alternatively animations might solve it but I believe that arrows might take less time to implement(Hence I felt that it was a decent example). My apologizes for not describing my intention clear enough. |

I'm still not sure I follow, though. The units literally slide along the map to go where they are going. If you're not seeing this, it sounds like you're hitting skip or cancel, or that the game is running at such a low framerate that somehow you miss this. The units don't just jump from one spot to the end. |

I never saw the animation, but yes, I press "next" all the time as I did not notice it. ^^' |

Ah! Pushing next skips the animation, yeah. In the next version, it should be more clear what is going on since the units will start moving without your having to push play. |
