Summary | 0011221: Nanoswarm stop attacking
Description | I'm almost positive this is because of their paralysis, but I could be wrong. Basically, if you want to wipe out an enemy with them, they can't really do that because after the ships have around 1:45 or so of paralysis, the Nanoswarms stop attacking. After a few seconds, some Nanoswarms jump in and hit them again. Then nothing for another 5 seconds or so. I don't know if there is a better behavioral option or not for them. In the save, pause and switch to My Layout. Go to Nostramo, right next to my homeworld. Unpause and watch the "action".

The ships sacrifice themselves to do the damage they do. I think they do this in an attempt to save you resources. Perhaps a toggle would be nice for those situations like yours where you don't care. |
|
I'm assuming that's the reason, but maybe they should just put such ships at the bottom of their target list, and so they would continue to attack them if no other targets were present. At least then I can micro them away if I don't want them too. |
