DescriptionSUGGESTION: If you can destroy whole tiles with "Smite," why can't you also have a "Lightning Bolt" or something that unconditionally destroys units too?

That'd be way too powerful I think. Once a powerful unit "did its job", you should have to deal with the consequences of allowing that powerful unit to exist in the first place, not just wipe it away at the cost of an action point.

Arcen's call, of course, but if this is a sandbox God game, and we have the power to destroy land, I don't see why we can't destroy land that has something on it, or units, etc. :)

Agreed. This is arbitrary in some ways, sure, but right now you're able to mold land but not directly people. It fits in other ways with the whole "free will" bit. Mainly, for gameplay reasons this really needs to stay as-is or the challenge drops through the floor (talking about Adamantine and so forth).
