Summary | 0011362: Unit landing on nonexistant tile | ||||
Description | Unit in question is a Huscarl, during his move phase, he went towards a pig farm to attack it, and ended his movement on a tile that no longer existed; he went invisible when he landed there, but still attacked the farm after this. Mousing over the spot shows him as still being there. The particular tile had been destroyed by the Midgard Serpent, not by normal smiting. I *think* it was the same turn. Including quick screenshot even though it probably doesnt help much. Cant see the mouse cursor in the screenshot but it's right on the hole in the center. EDIT: It's probably something with the Midgard Serpent itself; it's ONLY happening on tiles that it destroyed, and the more it breaks, the more often it's happening. EDIT 2: Ok, now invisible units on nonexistent tiles are attacking nonexistant buildings that were blasted by the Serpent. EDIT 3: Now I'm getting alot of infinite loop errors which seem to be connected to the vanished units. Gonna include the debug files here. | ||||

I'd need a save to do much with this, but I think I may have fixed this through some other changes this version. |

Added a bunch of files for you, including a save. The save may not work; it gave me a Fatal error when I tried to let it play. If it does, you may see units fall into holes or even claim a destroyed ruin, like in the picture. The Serpent still has around 2 turns left as well. Hope that helps. |

Thanks! * Fixed some crash bugs that could happen if the playback of unit actions was saved and then loaded and referenced some tiles that had been destroyed (which in itself was an error, of course; but this lets the savegame recover rather than remaining corrupt). * Fixed a few issues where entities were sometimes still able to enter tiles that had been destroyed, which led to all sorts of wonkiness. |
