Description | During the "Unit Actions view" phase, I've found that the most fun setting is with every options checked (ie "Play All", "Auto Follow", "Skip Civilian") at 1x speed. BUT then, you do not get time to see effects of actions! Solution(s): 1) Simpler: Add a short pause (~ 1 second in 1x) at the end of a unit actions 2) Better: Add a short pause (~ 1 second in 1x) each time an effect shows up in a popup text (even multiple time in a unit replay) => when a Unit does nothing, do not pause the game ++ Speed Multiplier shall affect this pause, perhaps to the point that in 8x the pause will be unnoticable (or skipped) | ||||

I've re-launched a Civilization V game to see how it handle this; it add a pause (perhaps a bit too long) at the end of each Unit Action, that let you see & feel the result of an attack, see the damage taken through the health bar, BEFORE switching to the next Unit Action. This is how I think it relates to the "health bar issue"; to help see the damage taken. |

Yep, a short pause just so that you can take in what's just happened or read any pop-up text would be nice. |

I think the changes in .805 should resolve this. Let me konw if not. |
