Then perhaps the "solution" of 0011119 could be reverted, or become an option (as in Civilization, sorry to bring again this game, but I think it help when arguing around game design and usability).

I haven't played 0.805...does it snap to the Faction's Town Center when you switch End Turn? (The oldest Town Center in the case of multiples) That was the biggest aggravation for me, and made it very hard to keep playing.

I'm inclined to favor something like this. I think it should jump to where you last placed something for that faction (most of the time, it will be near the last town center, but sometimes not).
