Summary0011686: Units in Carriers don't count towards AI Eyes
DescriptionIn this save, I have a small number of (very big) ships attacking a planet with an eye. The planet has a carrier with 200 ships in it, but those 200 ships aren't counted towards the ship counts on the planet. As a result, the eye is triggering.

It seems like either the units in the carrier should count, or if the AI is that badly outnumbered the carrier should deploy.

It would appear some other change in 6.033 took care of this: I loaded your save and it immediately deployed the carrier, which stopped the eye from activating :) ...

That is, it stopped it from activating for about 3 or 4 seconds, after which your ships had annihilated most/all of the 200 units spawned from the carrier, and now the AI is well and truly outnumbered on that planet.
