Summary | 0011862: Parasite Damage
Description | As a note, I don't actually know if this is already the case, and am unsure how to set up an experiment for it.... So, this is partly asking a question, and partly suggesting. Also can't categorize it effectively. 1: Parasite damage, is not visible, Also, it is unclear what decides whether a parasite captures a destroyed unit or not. 2: Does Parasite damage get removed if you self-regen, or get repaired, or does it remain? Meaning, if you take a ton of parasite damage, nearly killing your ship, and then repair it to full, followed by being killed instantly by a fortress in a later assult, will it be stolen?

Reclamation damage is affected by a multiplier determined by the relative marks of the two ships. e.g. If the receiving ship is the same mark as the reclaimer it's a 1x multiplier. if the receiver is -1 mark it gets 4x multiplier if it's +1 mark it gets .25x multiplier This gets stronger the larger the difference. This is the effective reclamation damage. It's normal damage is applied as normal. This can lead to the illusion that reclaimers do no damage, but this isn't true. They will shoot a target enough to be able to reclaim it, and then switch to another target that needs more reclamation damage if possible. It's best to mix them as a result with other ships who will focus on finishing off their reclaimed targets. |
