Summary | 0012002: Champion mode + normal ships. | ||||
Description | Champion players cannot properly manage normal ships. If they have a Parasite turret, it will reclaim ships, and they can use them, but they cannot gift them, say, to an actual player. Also, Champions cannot be gifted, or indeed even control-group support ships of any type. So I can't assist my friend by letting them have a T3 engineer (for repair/refit, which for some reason Champions cannot do themselves) or a cloaker starships (Because Snipers are problematic, and cloaking works) Unsure as to if there is a way to do any of this innately, aside from the workaround of having one player go Champion + Player, and the other Helper. | ||||

Actually IIRC a champion only player that reclaims ships should be able to gift them to another player as long as they have that ship unlocked and do not already have their cap of them full. Not sure though, I almost never play champion only. |
