Description | I have a purple Mk 25 coolant tank with the following bonuses: -Reactor: +45% power generation -Shields: +424 max health -Propulsion: +12 stealth actions -Computer: +8 sensor range -Weapon: +52% attack power -Other rare item bonuses I also have an orange Mk 34 coolant tank. However, aside from the rare item bonuses, the only advantage it has over the Mk 25 coolant is the reactor power generation bonus (52% instead of 45%). In fact, I have a purple Mk 11 (eleven!) coolant tank that has the same shield, propulsion and computer bonuses as the other two. | ||||

It seems low-level coolant tank/power amplifier bonuses are too high in general. Said purple Mk 11 coolant tank gives a shield strength bonus more than twice as big as that from a green Mk 33 emitter matrix (although the matrix also gives a sensor range bonus). |

Mmph, at a guess, this is an issue with item stats from old saves. |

If this is an issue from old saves, there's unfortunately not enough reason to look into fixing this right now. Sorry. |
