If I might suggest something here, simply make it so that this mission type cant appear too close to the player's initial spot on the map. This seems like it should be a mid or late-game mission for the player to attempt, probably after getting through the Bahamut missions. |

Actually, this is something already addressed for the next patch, I agree with Cyborg: * The health stats on all the bosses have been majorly scaled down so that they are still impressive on the last day, but not insane. Was a comment from mrhanman later in the game, too. |

Bear in mind: having the difficulty spike is not really that desirable here. It doesn't feel too fun, and you are already paying the usual opportunity cost of doing this mission versus another one, anyway. That said, possibly higher difficulties could get tougher bosses. |
