Summary0012688: Identify loot "origin" in Mission Summary
DescriptionIt would be cool if the Mission Summary stated which loot items have been gained by meeting which victory condition (e.g. saved cryo-pods, unharmed Exo's, ...).

Just so the player knows which actions gained him what.
Also would make potential issues with mission rewards easier to track/notice.

Example:

Your Exos went unharmed!
- Loot gained ...

X Cryo Pods saved!
- Loot gained...

I think you get the idea ; ).

For 0.930:

* The mission results screen now displays a line above the loot saying whether it was from surviving exos or (in a hostage mission) from saving cryopods. Incidentally those are the only two sources on that screen, and they're mutually exclusive (you don't get the normal parts for surviving exos in a hostage mission).

Thanks :)

Thanks, but... don't the "loot-based" missions like science stations, part fabs etc. grant *extra* loot in addition to the loot granted for surviving exos? Or do they simply grant loot of higher rarity per surviving exo?

If so, that could stand some explanation somewhere, I think...

AFAIK only part fabs grant extra loot (two per exo instead of one per exo I think).

The shieldworks, armory, science station, and the like grant better loot of a predictable type (so finishing a science mission with all exos intact grants 4 blue computers instead of 4 green random items as a more vanilla mission type would generate).

The office building and hacker type missions increase the number of chests that spawn in the levels, not the post-mission rewards.

The science station always grants parts that can go in a computer slot. This goes for the end-of-mission rewards from surviving exos (which are promoted from green to blue, yes) and for any loot picked up during the mission. Its tooltip says "Make your way to the science station to capture some high-quality computer parts".

The parts fab grants 2 parts per surviving exo, instead of 1, and its tooltip says "we'll get twice as many parts as usual from completing this mission."

Anyway, neither is exactly encyclopedic in descriptiveness, but I'm not sure that's the point :)
