Description | I haven't actually seen this happening in the game, so maybe this is already taken care of. (Marked as "Note to Test" instead of bug.) But -- is it possible for Fuel Depot missions to spawn next to Bahamut Device missions? (This was inspired by a game where a Fuel Depot spawned two spaces away from Bahamut Device.) If they can spawn adjacently, what happens when you clear out the Fuel Depot first? Do you (1) get credit for the upgrade, (2) the upgrade's lost forever, or (3) the Bahamut mission remains (i.e. Bahamut missions can't be destroyed by Fuel Depots). I think option (3) should be what happens. Or maybe these two mission types shouldn't be allowed to spawn together at all. | ||||

Your guess is correct: mapgen explicitly prevents fuel depots from seeding next to Bahamut missions. Or Robot Control Center missions. Or your HQ (heh, wouldn't that be fun?). A good question to have raised, though. If you ever see a city where a fuel depot is next to any of those, please reopen this record or open a new one, and send the save in :) |
