Description | I was trying to figure out how to deal with a tight ring of turrets, and I saved when I found a tedious manner of dealing with them. When I inevitably died, I tried to reload the game, and it completely locked up on me. Task Manager showed the process using between 1 and 5 percent CPU utilization, and just north of 1GB of RAM, which was steadily increasing. I gave it several minutes, but it never recovered, so I killed the task. Attached are the logs and save. | ||||

It crashes when loading after restarting the game, too. Music keeps playing in the background. |

For 0.703: * Fixed some bugs where, for some types of combat (defending yourself, going after a pirate base, etc), saving in the middle of combat and reloading would cause an endless stream of null exceptions (and thus a lockup) because the contract data had been lost. ** Loading such a save in the new version won't recover that data, but it will dump you back to the solar map so you can play. ** Future cases of the lost data will be prevented, though. * Fixed several bugs where non-spacefaring races could be considered valid choices for pirate base owners or opponents in contracts that pit you against pirates.
