Description | When a missile is coming at you, it seems to follow you forever without running out of fuel, and there seems to be no way to make it lose you. As it is now, it's almost certain that any missile launched at you will hit you sooner or later. I might suggest that missiles have not only a limited lifetime (running out of fuel), but also have a maximum turn rate such that with skillful dodging you could get them off of your trail. | ||||

* Shots now "fizzle" after 10 seconds. Aka, this mainly applies to homing missiles that are chasing you. They used to do that, but apparently we took that logic out at some point! Thanks for the catch. And in terms of escaping them, you can do that by running yourself behind some junk -- which you can create by shooting enemy ships. There is plenty of dodging you can do, you just can't do it in empty space too well. :) |
