just found that you can attack pirates assaulting a planet left-clicking on them (surprise attack). Any way, there are at least 2 problems: 1. not sure if this cause relationship hits (coming in our defence, for example) 2. some times (see bug 0013390) can be difficult to locate the pirate ship on solar map. |

I think there needs to be at least one defensive armada present for you to be able to assist a race via a friendly action... |

yes,that's true, but when dealing with pirates this seems to be not relevant: I never found "help defend against invading armadas" option. I think they are not considered like a different type of attack |

For 0.852: * Expanded the help-against-invaders and help-invaders actions to also work against/with attacking pirate fleets. Thanks :) |
