This was intended so you have to choose to hold fire and save the rescue pods or take a risk killing em |

It might be intended, but I don't like it. The risk should be (in my opinion, at least) that STRAY shots take them out, not that my gunnery crew has a spare gravity lance and just decides to implode some civilians for fun. (Actually, does the hydral have crew? Maybe it's just each head doing a separate thing... either way, the gunnery head is being a complete meanie, and I don't think it should work this way.) |

Agree, blowing up life pods is something you should need to explicitly command |

I agree. They should be in danger of stray shots, but auto fire shouldn't specifically go after them. |

Thanks! * No ships (player or otherwise) will ever autotarget civilian posts. Previously that was happening mostly by oversight. |
