Description | In my very first deliver spacefaring tech mission all ERH started spitting out ships as soon as I entered the map even though I did not enter their detection circle *and* did not shoot them. Is this intended? The mission I just had was definitely a bit overboard in terms of challenge with regard to new player experience = /... and this was mostly due to the insane amount of ships that spawned. It just took ages to get rid of them... | ||||

it happened to me too, in 0.990. Definitely facing the spawn of 5 emergency response hangar (yes, all of them spawned ships!!!) at once is not a nice experience for a new player edit: just to better explain how important it is, I was without abilities (because tutorial kept them locked) and fighting at least 85 cutters, 41 monitors, 24 predators and 9 claymores. 2 races already spacefaring (fist one + another one) I just accepted a quest about terraforming a planet at game start, but still it seems too hard. Simply making emergency response hangars spawn ship only if alerted (and maybe reducing its range) would help. |

I ran into this again yesterday using 1.002 and I think this may *really* tank first impressions for first-timers. Thus bumped it to major (Hi Chris = )!). |
