| Description | I've noticed this happening on more than just this update, but I figured now that I can confirm it hasn't been fixed yet, time to punch the ticket... When I'm being given tutorials such as, say, the technology tree briefing, whenever I hit 'next', the background picture- oddly enough, not the text box itself- will flicker to complete blackness for about a quarter of a second, then the background picture will come right back as though nothing was wrong. The music stays functional and everything. It almost seems as though the picture comes back once text starts popping into the text box, if that's any help. Be advised - I know for a fact this happened on 0.862 (I am not good at remembering file numbers), and since you evidently updated as I was typing this, it still happens in 0.900 - I don't remember when this started happening, but I know that it didn't always do this. I'm using Windows 8 and I tend to play your games in a window, including now. Fullscreening doesn't seem to help much, but I tend to play with fairly nonstandard resolutions due to the monitor I use. I don't know if that would do anything. Addition 1: Something similar happens when I flip through the "race relations" page; I'll switch the races around to see who hates who and why, and the background picture (for the side I changed) will go black for the same quarter of a second, then load up just fine. Interestingly, if I then switch to another race, and go back to a race that I previously had, that race I previously looked at won't flicker black anymore. This is only the case for the Race Relations screen, though. Maybe others, but I haven't immediately determined what else to check. | ||||
