Summary0001416: Disappearing ARS
DescriptionARS's were found in both the Chais and Kalaemic systems in the attached save. At time of discovery, they were visible in the intel summary from the map view. Both have disappeared from said summaries, as well as the planetary summaries on the planet view, and indeed I can't spot them just looking at the system either. It's noteworthy that they still show up in the objectives list, and when we later captured Chais the ARS appeared and gave us our ship, so it's strictly an intel thing. It's possible this isn't a bug and the AI is "hiding" the ARS's by some mechanism I don't know about, and if that's the case I apologize, though if they were known in the intel screen I'm not sure they should be disappearing from it (makes keeping track of things hard without actually denying us information, since if we're keeping track we already know it's there).

I can confirm now that this was a Camouflager AI type, so presumably it was hiding the ARS. However, I would still maintain that ARS's whose location has been scouted should remain in the planetary intel summary regardless of their "hidden" status (especially since they remain in the "objectives" list regardless), otherwise it's just confusing. :)

Here's another save that demonstrates this issue, also with a Camouflager AI. What's interesting is that I scouted the ARS and made several attacks on the planet, but in this particular save, whenever I move my fleet from Riwire to Owka (the planet with the ARS) it disappears as soon as they arrive. I continued to play past this point and once I captured the planet, the ARS popped back into view and I got the new ship type as expected.

I don't think this AI type ought to be able to hide an ARS (or other ships of that type) like this. It really confused me at first as I thought the ARS had been destroyed somehow and it wasn't until I reloaded an earlier save that I figured out what happened.

I had a similar issue on a previous version, and the AIs where not camouflager types. For me, the issue fixed itself after an update, but it also could have fixed itself because I save/loaded the game, I guess. 0001871 is the issue I'm talking about.

This should fix it in the next version, but please let me know if not:

* All ships that can be captured on planet ownership change, or which swallow enemy ships, are now immune to camouflaging.

Thanks!
