| Description | After completing a research mission with the aid of hired scientists, I didn't get a copy of the tech. Going into diplomacy, it showed an option to do the research mission, with 1 month remaining, but would not allow it (I believe it said the race already has the tech). I am guessing this might be due to a rounding problem somewhere in the game code (e.g. maybe calculating how long the research mission takes can sometimes be one month short of how long it actually takes the tech to be researched, so you're no longer doing the mission when the race completes the tech and you don't get credit). In future I will save before all research missions, if I can reproduce this I will attach a save file. EDIT: I did save just after this happened, save file is attached. | ||||

I _think_ that this will not happen anymore in 1.002 and on, but if you see it again please do let us know! |
