| Description | In the attached save the Peltians have experienced an outbreak of teethworms. This is causing a bunch of problems: 1) The planet's equilibrium population is zero. That's... really punitive. 2) It's causing a runaway negative medical trend that neither I nor the Peltians can seem to arrest, let alone reverse. 3) Maybe it's just supposed to take longer, but they've had it for two years with no apparent progress towards a vaccine. I've even leased them a science outpost several times (see the logbook), but to no avail. (Logbook entries are also wrong; they say "Helped Thoraxian Research (And Got A Copy For Yourself While You Were At It)") | ||||

Turns out it's even worse with the Acutians in that save. They've had i42 for an entire solar decade and still no vaccine! |

You used to be able to research a vaccine, possibly with a captured andor science outpost as a prerequisite, but I can't find the option to research a vaccine in my current game. (Andor political party randomization may account for this perhaps.) |
