| Description | If there is a hostile fleet in orbit around a planet, there should be a part of the interface I can go to if I want to see what's going on. This will likely be simply the planet's detailed info screen, and it could be given its own real estate on the left to make it obvious that something *very* anomalous is going on. Information I'd suggest including: *How long there have continuously been hostile forces in orbit. *The goal of the attacking fleet (conquest, Total Annihilation, trim down fleets). *Size and strength of the attacking and defending forces (copied from the solar system view, plus information about flagships and squadrons, AND broken down by race so you can see who's contributing). *The previous time period's damage inflicted ("the defenders lost this many ships and this much power yesterday, and the attackers lost this many" for a battle, for example). *If there's no battle going on (if the attackers have secured planetary orbit), how long there is until their next phase can commence (and what that phase will be). Some kind of information should probably also come up for when insurgents are active on a planet, but it might not get prime real estate like the battle stats. | ||||
