| Description | I find myself often changing my ship's power settings repeatedly to a few different settings, and it would be great if I had buttons to easily configure power to predefined settings. Example: Weapons 8, Shield 3, Engine 1 Weapons 1, Shield 3, Engine 8 Weapons 3, Shield 8, Engine 1 Weapons 4, Shield 4, Engine 4 I've attached a screenshot mock up of a system whereby the player is given four on screen buttons which they can assign power configurations to (ctrl-click) and switch to by clicking on them. Preferably these configurations would persist over the entire campaign. | ||||

Love this, and would love to see this in the game, since it will make combat more efficient. I see no problem if they were lines on top of each other horizontally either on the left side as a side bar. |

Heck, I'd even be fine with a simple "A", "B", "C" button below the normal bars. It's not like I can't recall the power setting then go "oops wrong one" and click the other, since you're doing this in a paused time. I do REALLY like the lines thing in the mockup though! |

I agree with all of this. It would be great to focus on gameplay, and not on resetting those ship configurations incessantly. |
