Summary | 0014540: Auto pause super-fast-forward if war breaks out or planet attacked
Description | I like the ability to super-fast-forward but sometimes entire species get attacked and conquered in the 10 month time span. There's no need to stop for minor notifications like research but big ones like a war starting might be worth updating the player about.

I think war declarations should not only pause but have a pop up, including who is the instigator, target and a reason why (which can be propaganda flavor stuff) |
|
Personally I would prefer that as well, Aswin. Thank you for connecting this to the earlier thread, I probably should have done some more searching before posting. |

I was on a planet doing armada assistance for 6 months, when it was attacked, bombarded and then blown up.. all while in FF.. not even a chance of escaping |
|
No popup please, the notification at bottom of the screen would suffice? else you need to click always boxes away? |

I'll voice support to this whole idea as well. Way too often, if I super-speed through even a short dispatch, the Thoraxians eat someone during this time. I had one just now that was like, 6 months, and BAM, the Andors are just gone. That gets... annoying. Not just war though, there's lots of events where it'd be really helpful for it to auto-pause and tell me about it. I cant think of any good reason NOT to add a checklist like this as an option. |
