| Description | It really doesn't work well. I've got very good sight, and even I get eye strain from reading it. If we can't have white on black backgrounds, how about giving us contrast, brightness, and gamma controls overall? | ||||

To where are you referring? It sounds like you may have a very low-contrast monitor; this is the first mention I've heard of this. |

Computer reports. For example, at the moment I have up the Skylaxian homeworld, and I've clicked on Assist with Armada Construction. The top part of the popup is a computer report, in a dingy gray. The lower section of the popup, listing the three results that will follow selecting this option, are in a good, strong white with yellow utilized to highlight the important effects (influence, income, etc). It's the gray part I'm referring to. My monitor's a pretty decent Asus, and my contrast isn't turned down, for what that's worth. |
