Summary | 0014650: Add an auto resolve battle button when accepting combat a mission
Description | When ever you perform an action from the friendly/hostile acts that would take you to the combat screen. Instead of just providing the button "Take Action" you could add an auto resolve button here as well. This way you wouldn't have to load into the combat screen if you were going to auto resolve the combat anyway.

We need it to actually load the combat in order for it to have the data to autoresolve from. That also gives you the chance to look at civilian buildings to kill them real quick before you finish auto-resolving. It also keeps the interface with fewer steps for when you're not auto-resolving, which is overall presumed to be the most common case. If you're auto-resolving, it's only saving you a tiny bit of time to do the interjection, whereas if you're not, it adds an annoying extra step. There's also the case that you may want to partially-auto-resolve, where if you find yourself in an outnumbered situation you play by skill a bit, whittle it down slightly, but only take a few turns to do so. Then autoresolve for the finish. Etc. This way is a lot more flexible. |
