Description | Description: Spray bullets in a wide arc.Excellent for hunting down ranges of smaller ships, but wont make a dent on larger ships. In fact, larger ships got larger surface for bullets to hit so the DPS and AOE is always higher than minigun and mass driver.Combine with Energy Blaster ,wear off their shield , change spread shot, change the ship to mode 6-3-3 or higher attack power... (I play Energy Blaster+ Spread shot every game so I still feel minigun and other weapon is useless because spread shot is too powerful) Consider Spread shot adventage(large AOE) this weapon shouldn't have high level of damage output than other narrow weapons (at least do not higher than minigun) thank you for having me release my feelings :) | ||||

Gotta agree with this. Please don't nerf it too bad; I love spreadshot and want to be able to keep using it, but it is easily my best weapon for big ships as well as small ships. Literally the only time I using anything but spreadshot, EVER, is if a ship resists spreadshot's bullet type. |

I concure, and I've done actual testing, not just looking at the projections in the tooltip. Basically the only time I use ANYTHING other than spreadshot now is when the target is out of range, or while kiting the Burlust Prime and using Energy Shot to get his shields down (after which I use spreadshot to finish off his hull). My preference for solution wouldn't be to nerf spreadshot though, but to improve the other weapons to competitive levels. |

Agreed. In an ideal setting every weapon should have its time to shine but so far the game is almost always Energy Shot >> Spreadshot. I would be careful about nerfing the Spreadshot and more supportive of lifting up the other weapons into usefulness. |

Yeah it'd be nice to have all weapons have their place, there's a few that feel more useless, especially when you have the over-versatile spreadshot. Mass Driver in particular IMO. |

I suggest shorter the range scale of spread shot or narrow the arc of spread shot or less bullets per shot or larger the interval between each shot(like a shot gun need more time between shots) |

Yes weapons need rebalance, Spreadshot is really strong and mass driver is next to useless except burlust warlords. |

i find mass driver to be handy from time to time due to its shoot down incoming bullets attribute... really helps me out sometimes when i'm in a bullet hell situation and i need to clear a path.... but i agree that spreadshot is definitely the go to weapon right now... its the minigun that needs some love first i reckon as it doesn't seem to have a role at all |

Nerf: - the direct bullet damage. Severely! Buff: (to balance out the above nerf) - increase the number of bullets and angle of the spreadshot (we want to actually hit those small objects, even if they are at maximum distance and try to kite) - and/or let the spreadshot bullets go through objects they hit, allowing them to hit further objects as well (additional benefit, useful only if you are swarmed) This way, if you are literally swarmed by enemies, this is the weapon of your choice. However, when facing a single opponent, even if it is a big object, only a small percentage of bullets would hit it and the added benefit of bullets going through objects would be wasted. |

Thanks! * The attack power of the spreadshot has been reduced slightly, its range has been reduced to 2/3 its prior value, and it now fires far fewer salvos at a time. * The attack power of mass drivers has been doubled. * The attack range of the player minigun is now a bit larger, its attack power is now 50% higher, and its shots now move slightly faster. |
