Summary | 0015864: Nonsensical outpost raiding, many incorrect stats
Description | This one has been pretty much perpetual for awhile in this particular save. Loads of ships attacking outposts for no real reason (none that I can find anyway), and appearing in extreme numbers as a result (36 enemy flagships VS just me is... hard). But the stats for alot of this is also inaccurate. Alot of the time, when hovering over the outpost, the list of current raiders doesnt match what then appears in the fight, which includes the random appearances of the Acutians, who were killed off by the Thoraxians earlier in the game. The races that appear in the battle may also have bizarre random alliances, or at least ones that seem random. I'll go into a defensive battle, and lots of the ships may be allied with me against others that arent. Defeating the ones that arent ends the battle successfully, but leaves me with an outpost being attacked by forces I cant do anything about, because entering a defense mission does the instant-win thing, since there's no hostile targets. In addition, when hovering over the armada/space power data for those races, it often displays them as doing something other than raiding. I've got 4 Burlust armadas attacking one of my science outposts, but it doesnt display any of them as doing so. Instead it says some are defending the main planet, that bit is correct, but the others are listed as defending an outpost (they dont even have one) and defending a different planet.

For 1.603: * Made the "fleets attacking a node will be hostile to its owners in combat" rule take effect after pretty much all other allegiance rules to avoid situations where defending an outpost of yours (for instance) could lead to some of the attacking forces being allied to you. Thanks :) |
