Summary	0015960: Thoraxians spamming Chatter ticker every solar month
Description	"Disregard the old ways, the planet is now under my control. Disregard the old ways, the planet is now under my control. Disregard the old ways, the planet is now under my control. Disregard the old ways, the planet is now under my control." etc, etc... I'm not sure what old ways the hive queen is talking about, or why she's so excited to tell the solar system to disregard them, but this Chatter is repeated 8 times at the beginning of every solar month in the past two games I've played once the Thoraxians become spacefaring, including a fresh start campaign for v 1.606. I can only presume The Onion (or maybe the Thoraxian's analogue... "The Giant Marmot" maybe?) has gotten control of the Queen's SpaceTwitter account. See attached savegame's Chatter Ticker.

SNAFU Oct 10, 2014 2:50 am reporter ~0039593	Addendum: checking Notification History sheds a bit of light on why this might be happening. There is a Hive Queen Mood Swing notification listed for EVERY planet, regardless of which race owns it.

Misery Oct 10, 2014 7:34 am reporter ~0039594	Could this be interrupting other actions? I'm seeing this same issue in my game, and just now the Andors were supposed to hold an election, but the timer for it reset without it actually occurring, while everyone again spat out more mood swing messages. When I actually look at the overall event log, there doesnt seem to be anything other than the mood swings, and random events, as well as things I've done. It kinda looks like the other races arent doing much in the way of actions that count as stuff like that? Hard to say.

SNAFU Oct 10, 2014 8:42 am reporter ~0039595	Misery: I sifted through the logs of my current iteration of that savegame's campaign and found that Andor election notifications were posting and changes were updated to the Andor Parliament, but only the month after the elections were held. e.g. if Andor Parliament screen claims election is on 1st I Proto, update to ruling party and notification doesn't happen until 21st II Proto. I have managed to change ruling parties twice in my game so far (just did Pharmacist -> Environmentalist) so maybe the delay is intended?

Chris_McElligottPark Oct 10, 2014 8:53 am administrator ~0039597	Thanks! * Fixed a bug from the prior version where all the planets were getting hive queens repeatedly, and thus spamming messages about hive queen mood shifts. This should have been a visual-only thing.
