Description | I would really like it more of the parameters were in accessible data files. It would support the modding community a ton too. It isn't a priority in any way. Short List of Nice Things to Have: Prerequisites for Techs Index of Techs for placement in the skill tree Buildings and Passives provided by each Tech Number of variants of each tile provided in the *_dict.pngs Disease Parameters Building Passive bonuses Building graphic tile label | ||||

A lot of that would be pretty challenging, but we'll see. Regarding the index of techs and where they go in the tech tree, that one actually can already be edited via a flat file. Not very easily, though. Disease Parameters are all procedural, so there's nothing else to actually define. I've been thinking that there might be some shifts needed there, though. |

The position of texts in the text tree I figured out. It's simply TechID, X, Y. Changing that was easy enough, but the remainder seemed out of reach. I couldn't find the prerequisite for technologies, assignment of TechID to the tech, passives, and buildings enabled. So I made pink trees instead. |

Yep, the prereqs are embedded in the game right now. |

That's very kind of you, but honestly my art talents are rubbish. I can do a bit of manipulation in Gimp, but I'm mostly limited to palette swapping and cut and pasting. |

All good. The offer stands in general for folks, though. When people make good mods, if they are adding something rather than replacing something, we're typically open to including those into the main game if the mod-creator wants us to. It's a case by case basis of course. |
