| Description | "Fixed a bug where if you made an optimize-retail deal with the Acutians and then their trust/attitude towards you went very sour then the impact of the deal would actually apply a strong negative multiplier to your retail-outlets' crown production and thus totally lay waste to your economy... wait, that's a bug?" Actually, can we weaponize this for the AI? Perhaps not to the level of -5300%, but letting the economically, medically, energy generationally sabotage the player as well as with smog, combat, planetary rage, real-estate theft, etc, perhaps even racially dependent. So that there are repercussions for annoying the Acutians and not "dealing" with them. | ||||

It's definitely something I have _really_ wanted to do, yeah. The Evucks and the Andors both have special logic along these lines (Evucks sending people diseases, Andors sending people gifts). I'd love to come up with a unique mechanic along these lines for all of the races when they are angry at you (the Andors actually are indiscriminate with their gifts, and they aren't weaponized because of their nature). Depends on if we have time prior to 1.0 with all the various other fixing and whatnot. With the extra month, it's a possibility. But I don't want to introduce more problems or gloss over existing ones in favor of new features. If this game does well, you better believe this will be a feature at SOME point, though. :) Still, hopefully prior to 1.0 anyway. Fingers crossed! |
