Summary0016519: Have each of the level 1 tech give a one time boost of crowns.
DescriptionVery quickly, I Learned that you need a bank to start. Meaning your first research is the bank. Crowns as the lifeblood of the game even more then other things and Banks give you the most crowns early on.

To counter that, I suggest that each of the first level of techs gives a different amount of a one time crown bonus, thinking of it as gathering locked up reserves or something from the lander. You need the key to access that box, and those techs are the keys.

The reward for each of the techs will need to be balanced so the least immediately useful level 1 tech gives you a lot of crowns, where as banking will give you very few crowns.

This should reduce the dependency on going bank first. Allowing people to start builds for other things to start.

I haven't done this exact thing, but there are a ton of early techs that are now viable first choices for a variety of reasons in the next version (3 or 4, I can't recall). The tech tree is SUPER different.
