Summary | 0016650: Vaccines are tranferable
Description | I think this would add some diplomativ flavour to the game. Since diseases are finite (as far as I know), two races can get the same disease, either through war or through bad luck. If one race has already the vaccine for that disease, another race shoudl have the option to get it through verious options (besides researching it). Either through trading or through stealing it from the other race.

The Zenith have a "cure disease" diplomatic option (although it seems nonfunctional as of 0.815) that may indicate different plans for vaccines. |
|
Evuk has that as well (I think, or perhaps Skylaxians). |

Huh, that's strange. I would have thougth that the Andors such an option since this was their speciality in TLF. Anyway, I would want this for allr aces, not only some. maybe with some exceptions (like the Thoraxians. It seems unlikely that they will give vaccines away). |
|
I'd suggest boosting their research toward the vaccine rather than "giving" 100% of the vaccine. It's already quite strange that the disease can affect 2 different races, and I'd find it even stranger than a vaccine works without some adaptation for 2 different races. |
