Maybe bumping you up to "conversational fluency" would be good, but anything above that isn't the kind of thing a race would teach you about themselves. I don't like the idea of reducing language level later -- why would you forget something you previously knew? |

I was thinking more along the lines of: You have dominated them. Therefore they will learn your language and make allowances for your understanding. However, if you someone lose domination, they go back to treating you like uncultured heathens. |
