Summary0001673: All waves include a few fighters
DescriptionNo matter what the wave summary says, there are always a few fighters along for the ride. Only two or three, so it's far from a big issue, but it's odd.

Yep, three fighters are always included in addition to whatever else is shown. These actually emerge just a second or two before the main fleet, which causes any waiting lightning warheads, etc, to "cook off" before the main fleet arrives.

lol.. so that's why they always show up a tad early. I always cloak my missiles but I've never used them as traps as I only build them on a on-demand-to-kill basis.

Sorry, I meant lightning turrets and electric shuttles. Wrong word! But, yeah -- they're the decoys. Back in the pre-2.0 days that was a big thing for players to do, and so I had the AI also take up the same tactic. Now it's less purposeful than it was back then (when it was critical), but it's still pretty cool.

ah gotcha, that's awesome. I never realized there was a reason for its occurrence. I only recently noticed this myself with counter-attack waves as I spot a lone fighter first, at least with the wave I was watching.
