| Description | Some races have large attack values due to racial attack bonuses. For example, the Thoraxian Ground Troop Carrier Hover Saucer has an attack rating of 298. Other races have massive penalties, for example the Andors and Peltians are looking at attack values of 40-60 for most of their buildings. Unsurprisingly then, when it comes to defending some races have a really hard time early game when they have poor quality interceptors facing some rather tough offense. It also comes as a rough surprise to the player when they show up on his doorstep. This has been noted in forums as well. Edit: I changed the entry because I was able to figure out what was going on and this is not a bug, but perhaps balance issue. Note: Peltian Missiles For Life! | ||||

Thanks! * The racial bonuses and penalties for all three kinds of combat have now been greatly trimmed, so that they are neither so incredibly low (peltians) or so incredibly high (thoraxians). |
