Description | Scouts no longer reliably auto-scout. I think they do so early on, then stop at some point. Manual scouting is still possible. Savegame is attached. | ||||

In this case is it just that there is nothing left to scout, or is there a scoutable area that they are not scouting? Would someone mind checking and letting me know when they get a chance? I'm a bit overwhelmed right now. |

Yes, but no. Repeat: I can manually scout further. Their scouting range is not exhausted yet. There is still scoutable area, but auto-scouting does not act on it. |

I have uploaded a second save in which the difference between automatic and manual scouting is illustrated by the fact that there are several far-reaching corridors that manual scouting uncovered, whereas the automatic scouts are content to stay closer to home. |

Adds a couple screenshots for quick looks there too. First is his max scoutable range (~ 40 tiles I thought this was a hard 20?). Second is centered on a station north of his city a bit. |

Hey aslo, multiple scouts aren't being counted, only one scout is being used to auto. |

For 0.872: * Fixed several bugs preventing auto-scouting from working properly in some cases. Notably: ** Ceasing to scout eligible tiles, sometimes because it was hung up trying to scout the very edge of the world. ** Scouting the same tile over and over again, or nearly so, making it look like only one scout is sent out.
