Summary | 0017110: Turn 0 - Selecting the initial starting point
Description | When selecting the starting position there's little indication as to which tile is the centre of city prior to landing. Is it possible to add a highlight overlay/icon on the map that indicates where the craft will land if the tile is selected?

If you completely zoom out you can see a transparent overlay, which good, but as I'm zoomed to a general level to look for a suitable site, I was hoping for a more localised tip. I've attached a screen shot of how it's not clear from the perspective what hex the craft is centred over. |
You can see a set of darker green tiles under the lander, that is where it will be placed. There are 3 things going on there: 1: Placement Icons 2: Light Blue shaded area, area that is in that district 3: Dark Green shaded area, exact placement of the lander. |
I think the district range overlay is irrelevant and confusing for the lander, since the entirely of the known world is within it no matter where you land. |
The district range overlay on the lander is overwhelming. |
Actually it is pretty important (if you start near the edge of the world, you don't want to be clipping off buildable area. |
Force starts to stay away from the edge of the world? |
I like starting on the edges. |
Sure. But not that close. |
If I have an opportunity to line up right on the edge, I will. Personal preference there. |
Thanks! * When placing your lander, it no longer shows that blue overlay all over the place. |
