Description | I finally researched Terraforming several turns back and changed a few tiles that are supposed to make it the more compatible for my race. However I'm finding it not that clear as to whether its worth investing my 'turn dollars/accumulated wealth" on. Would it be possible to have some form a visual cue that indicates the terraforming affect on the main screen? Whilst it does show that a tile is being/is terraformed, its not clear what the consequences mean at the local, surrounding tiles and city levels. Also the Korlin Spines as a terraforming option made me speculate whether terraforming a tile meant that it affected the surrounding tiles defensive bonus That doesn't appear to be true, yet it led me to think that it might be an interesting mechanic to include in the game (my apologies if its already there [I just can't see it]). My thoughts are that terraforming provides an additional layer of interesting per turn decisions. For example: Do I terraform this title? Do I build a base to make war and/or money? If I decline to do any terraforming does it bite me mid to end game? etc. I suspect this type of suggestion is probably out-of-scope at this stage, but I thought it food for thought to list here. | ||||
